Country Spring Vineyard invites couples to come slowly sip some wine and enjoy the good life together. Country Spring Vineyard has 4 ½ acres of grapevines and over 3000 individual vines. Country Spring makes a variety of red, white, and specialty wines. Head to Country Spring to enjoy some fine Texas wine in the outdoor wine garden or the indoor tasting room.

Exiting an afternoon visit to Waco, we did a quick search for a local winery to visit to toast our anniversary. I choose this Country Spring as it was fairly close to I-35.The location was perfect for us as (i) it’s just a short 10 minute drive off the highway, and (ii) that 10 minutes is great as it puts you away from the highway and in a calm, peaceful environment.The venue is very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating for a tasting or glass/bottle. The indoor seating includes comfortable upholstered chairs and couches as well as bar seating and afforded a nice view of the vineyard.Our host was very nice and described the tasting options and food availability. The pricing was $10 for a 5 wine tasting which given a recent trip to and tastings in Napa, a welcome surprise. In addition, we added a cheese/fruit and cracker board “A Little Bit of Everything” which was a nice accompaniment.The wines we tasted were quite nice. We were partial to the two reds, the Cabernet Sauvignon and the “Persnickety”.If we lived in the area, I would be a regular as the quiet comfort this winery provides is exactly what I would seek out with a glass of red in hand. Heartily recommend.

Amazing experience! We threw a bachelorette wine and cheese party here. The ladies were so lovely to us, the wine was delicious and so rich.We love the ambiance as well!

We truly enjoyed our time at this winery. We chose the 6 options for $10 each and complimrntary glasses to take home. Grounds were impeccable. We didn't sit outdoors but the foundation and fireplace were quite lovely for a cooler day. We purchased 2 additional bottles of wine to take home. Overall I highly recommend. They offer a military discount, we apperciate.

Wow! This is the best wine tasting I’ve done in a long time. Greeted as we arrived by the owner. Met the wine maker, Mary. She was so nice. Staff were all smiles and friendly. The vineyard is beautiful. And the wines are fantastic! I will be back.
