I ordered a $100 gift certificate via their website on December 14th. Cleared my bank on December 16th. It's the 24th and still not received. I've attempted reaching someone through email and calls with no response. Unacceptable customer service.

We are in Texas for a visit and I have heard of Balcones and have tasted the product, so we booked a tour with tasting and was not disappointed.. Probably spent to much money on the product to bring home. LOL (Balcones is not available in Utah) Highly recommend a visit if your in Waco.

The tour was short but informative and entertaining! Cool to see the behind the scenes and gave me a greater appreciation for what goes into making a good whiskey. The tasting room reminded me of a wine class. Taught me how to choose a whiskey that suited my palate.The reconditioning of the old building into what it is today was awesome to see. The character and history of the building added to the experience.

I can’t be passing through Waco and not stop to get something to sip on. Their bourbon is my favorite. You can also take tours of the warehouse. This building is packed full of history dating back to 1923. They also have a tasting room and gift shop.

If you like whiskey this is a great place to be.We had a phenomenal time at the tasting room. Cara gave us a tour. She was knowledgeable and fun. 10/10

A must-stop every time I'm in Waco. After a couple tasting flights I took home a bottle of the rye and always enjoyed it. I came back next time to have another tasting and get another bottle. This is the best whiskey I've found in Texas.The distillery has whiskey tastings, a full bar of cocktails made from their spirits, and beers as well. There's also a gift shop of their glasses, branded shirts , hats, and a few books. They have tours, a decent size parking lot and, across the road, a couple restaurants and a cookie shop.

Amazing spirits first of all l…add on top of that a great space with fantastic service at extremely reasonable prices and you have one of the best places in Waco to “wet your whistle“.I have visited here a few times and it never disappoints.

I actually went in for the beer. I kept hearing about an amazing barrel aged stout they make. Unfortunately it is seasonal, so it was not on tap. There are four taps for the beer. I ordered the IPA. Hands down one of the best IPAs I have tried and definitely the best in town. Crisp and bright. So good. I also tried their lighter beer that was a mix of pilsner and lager, which I really liked. A really good brewer working here.

Definitely cannot rate this place any higher!! I love Balcones. I am definitely always trying to find an excuse to go drink some Balcones. From their events in the summer like Summer Surf Fest or Summer of Rum. The bartender Laura is so helpful and knows so much about all their drinks and the process of how they are made. Eric is super helpful and friendly as well! Go on a date here for sure!

I've been to Balcones multiple times as they are my favorite whiskey to date. I grew interested in Texas Whiskey a few years ago when I was given a sample of Balcones and told about the Texas Whiskey Trail.Every time I visit this distillery, they have fantastic cocktails that are creative and fun. The staff is always welcoming and appreciates the business whether your first visit or 100th.Balcones is a pioneer of Texas Whiskey along with defining what American Single Malt is all about. If you have not tried Balcones yet, give it a whirl - you will be impressed. I highly recommend their Brimstone and "1" single malt to start out - they are quite delicious and represent what Balcones is all about.
