Black Oak Art Studio specializes in handmade pottery and now offers private and group lessons in making your very own handmade pottery. You and your sweetheart can join one of their group lessons for a fun pottery experience like making your own mug, bowl, plate, vase, etc. The class size for the group lessons is no more than 12. Looking for a more private and intimate setting? You can schedule a private lessons for just you and your sweetheart. No matter which type of lessons you prefer, you will have a great time throwing clay with your sweetie at Black Oak Art Studio.

We ordered 75 mugs to celebrate KIWI Trucking Company's 2nd Anniversary this June. I was looking for something unique but practical to share with customers, vendors and employees. Everyone we communicated with at Black Oak Art was prompt and professional, from first inquiry thru stamp design to shipping. We absolutely LOVE our custom, handmade mugs!

Working with Black Oak Art was an all around wonderful experience. They created dishware to our specifications and with our brand - which should be the basic basic minimum expectation for custom dishware - but they went way above and beyond by working with fully engaged artists who met our every design need and did so amazingly quickly. Every part of the process was both inventive and collaborative. I could not have asked for a better experience or product! Thank you Black Oak Art!

I booked this as a surprise experience for a group of us.. it was fantastic. Our tutor gave us support but also let us experience the “magic” of creating out of clay. We all really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.. Thank you.

Lauren and Emma went above and beyond to accommodate me and my wife for a throwing session this past weekend. It really speaks volumes to the community and to this establishment that they are willing to work around their schedules to introduce newbies like us to the art of pottery!My wife and I decided to visit Waco for the weekend and has always wanted to try her hand in pottery since I can remember. I looked online to see that there were no available times for a class/session when we were in town, but I decided to inquire anyway. Lauren messaged me back to let me know that she had reached out to one of the artists that was able to work with our schedule and this will be the origin story for my wife's enthusiasm for pottery!Emma was kind, patient, and very encouraging to us during our session and it shows that she has such an amazing talent for teaching and love for her art. There were other artists working on projects while we were there which made it feel so organic. This experience felt as though it was catered to us, but with so much character, yet very familiar.If you are ever in the area and want to try your hand in learning, I would highly recommend Black Oak Art. On our drive home, my wife decided to buy a throwing wheel because it was so much fun!Thank you Lauren and Emma for the wonderful experience!

We just received our shipment of 50 mugs to sell at our shop and they are absolutely perfect! Everything arrived safely, very well packed, and right on time. We love our special hand-crafted mugs and plan to order again in the future!
