What makes it fun
Indian Springs Park is in downtown Waco. It is located on the west side of the Brazos River. The Indian Springs Park provides access to the historic Waco Suspension Bridge on one side. This park is also the home of the “Branding the Brazos” statue series. Nationally distinguished sculptor Robert Summers created this bronze statue series. Summers, a Texan by birth, pays homage to an important part of Texas history, the Chisholm Trail, with this sculptures series that depicts scenes from a Chisholm Cattle Drive which long ago took place along the banks of the Brazos River. Besides suspension bridge and sculptures series, the park also boasts beautiful views which can provide a lovely backdrop from a date or proposal.
