Pivovar is a Czech restaurant that you definitely should check out with your sweetheart. The restaurant has a fun vibe with views of the functional brewery. The menu is full of traditional Czech dishes like Chicken Paprikash, Czexan Schnitzel and Czexan Potted Beer Cheese. Of course, you'll want to make sure to pair your meal with one of the traditional Czech beers that is brewed on the same property.

Our service was great, and the food and beer were fantastic! I had the Czexan Schnitzel and my husband ordered the Fish and Chips. My schnitzel was breaded perfectly with lots of great seasoning, and topping it off with the Pivovar Cream Sauce with Mushrooms made it absolutely delicious. My husband's cod and chips were excellent as well. We topped it all off with their crème brûlée cheesecake!
We don't live very far from Waco and noticed they also have a Beer Spa on site! We would love to come back and experience that together next time.

What a treat! Do not miss if you are visiting Wako! Lovely intriguing space, friendly and professional service. The food is delicious, they had ran out of goulash, so we will have to go back soon! The beer is excellent, share some appetizers with your group! The pork shank is big enough for two, and falls off the bones -finger - licking good!

I am Czech so trust me with this one. It was amazing. Both the cordon bleu rizek (schnitzel) and the beer. Highly recommended. Service was amazing, too.

Cool spot next to the popular Magnolia market.
I did not stay in the hotel, but I did dine at the brewery/restaurant.

Food was good, the stuffed pork schnitzel was kinda bland and small.
Braised pork shanks was generous in size delicious portion.
Nice interior

Would have added another star to the experience had I not had to kill a big 'ol cockroach that was crawling on the floor toward our table near the end of the meal. Called up one of the servers to please sweet it up, which she did, then proceeded to share that the place is infested and crawl in from the walls all the time :)

Appetite for dessert kinda died off after that conversation.

No stars or 1 so you can decide. Ready, set....
Pivovar is a special combination of brewery, dining room and hotel right next to Magnolia Ville. I stayed one night and ate diner here. Specially curated and exceptionally tasteful, often antique, furniture blends with modern day architectural features and finishes PLUS, wait for it, you can take a bath in beer here. Honest. Even The Rolling Stones couldn't make this up tho their sax player, Bobby Keys, did it with champagne in Paris....so there! Plus he did it with Babes. Plural. Here's where I mention it's the LATE Bobbie Keys......who was from .....Texas. You see the connection?
The service in the restaurant was very good as was the high calorie count of the somewhat limited menu items, heavy on the schnitzel. Not for the vegetarian or weight watchers but it's an obvious hit with the hearty eaters and drinkers......who appeared in 'pork' and beer and shot of whiskey (or 10) heaven....with relish on top. The rub?
Two items that ruined my sleep and one that was a minor inconvenience. 1. There are no blankets in the room and the a.c. blew across my bed. So I tossed and turned all night long depending on how the a/c cycled. I tried to sleep when the a/c was off. That doesn't work. 2. There is a train track right alongside the hotel. You could of peeled me off the ceiling after it passed. 3. Try as I might, I could not get the t.v. to log into the net so....no show. I was furious when I finally woke up or rather, got out of bed, but then, later, I started laughing hysterically from the experience. It was a very unique one except for a place I stayed as a kid in Brooklyn.
This place deserves either the Woody Allen or, better yet, the Will Rogers treatment in movie or word. Recommendations. Don't miss it but DO bring ear plugs and a nice wool blanket. You'll need 'em. Big time. Somehow, this place fits right in....here in Texas. Now, ah....where's the Best Little Whorehouse.....how many blocks down the street?

I’ve never stayed overnight here as I am a local. However, the food is really good. I really enjoy their schnitzel and fresh pretzels. The beer is great as well as they make it in house. I also enjoy their decor. You can dress up or dress down at this establishment. It’s a great addition to Waco. Just don’t park in their parking lot and walk over to the silos!

We had a party of 12 (originally 10) for Mother's Day. They were able to accommodate us on such short notice, which was VERY nice of them. Keegan took care of us, and she was INCREDIBLE.

Started out on drinks, the premium light lager is loaded with flavor.

For starters, we got Brussel Sprouts and onion rings for the table. The onion rings were light, crispy and flavorful; didn't even need ketchup to enjoy them. The Brussel Sprouts were rich in flavor, a nice crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside.

For lunch, I ordered the Texas Pocket Schnitzel with Mushrooms. I had a bite of the Fish and Chips.

The tartar sauce was SENSATIONAL, so much flavor and fresh. The fish had a lot of flavor as well; super crispy and flakey.

Texas Pocket Schnitzel with the mushrooms was super crispy, and with the jalapeños and lemon, was packed with a lot of flavor.

Czexan Schnitzel was flavorful, with the pork being very good.

Overall, I wll DEFINITELY come back if I'm in the area. 10/10

Best meal I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful, but it wasn't smothered in so much flavorful that you didn't even know what you were eating. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly.

We ate schnitzel, mashed potatoes, Ruben, mac & cheese, Brussels sprouts, and the sourdough pretzel. The portions were just right. We ate until we were full and took home a little bit of everything but schnitzel!

If you go to Waco, TX to visit Magnolia, make sure to swing by at this restaurant. Food was delicious! And Jarrin our server was so awesome and even the one who greeted us by the door was very friendly and kind taking our pictures. Customer service is top notch. 🥰

We recently hosted a work dinner at Pivovar, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was great. Everyone at the dinner stated how amazing the bartender was.

A huge thank you to Morgan for being so professional and communicative in the planning stages. Highly recommend Pivovar for any occasion!

The pork shank here is simply the best dish I liked in Waco. They have good steak too. Not the best but definitely among the top ones in waco. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere for important days.
Seems like rating here can only be made for the hotel tho.

I’m a beer snob and I can confidently say that their pilsner is not only authentic to the style but it’s excellent! We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we did enjoy sitting at one of the community picnic tables in their beer garden.

VERY highly recommended.

The tall lady that interviewed me was too serious it made me uncomfortable and she asked me a million questions even questions that weren’t work related that’s insane just to be a server lol I could understand if I was applying for a big girl job then that’s expected. I have more experience than she did in the service industry, and I have never been asked so many questions.

Just had dinner there on our visit to Waco and it was the worst and most expensive dinner we’ve had on our trip. We told the waiter the pasta was horrible and basically just said sorry it’s not for everyone. No offer to replace with something different or discount the ticket?!?!?

We live locally so only had dinner and not a hotel stay. We visited on a week night and it wasn’t super busy. We received decent service. I had the salmon and it was very fresh and well prepared. The others in our party had the schnitzel and liked their entrees but didn’t love them. Beer was good and I’d like to try a flight next time to sample some of their others. Overall, while our experience wasn’t stellar, it was above average and we all agreed we’d enjoy coming back to try other dishes.

Amazing venue! Gave me pleasant flashbacks of my time in Germany! Amazing food; amazing beer; great bar selection, and service is top of the line! My only complaint is the bar/restaurant should be open until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Stopped in for dinner on Sunday / Mother's Day. Great beers and food menu! We had a flight of their four beers, glass of wine. For dinner we both had the Texas Pocket Schnitzel which includes mashed potatoes and added the House Goulash Sauce and also the Cream Sauce with Mushrooms on side - Perfect, great flavor, excellent! And the service from our server, Colby, was excellent too!

Food was great! The fried cheese, braised ribs, and creme brulee cheesecake were each fantastic. I liked their dark beer. My wife said the schnitzel was pretty good too.
We had a great server and the atmosphere was good.
