I met a friend for breakfast on a Monday morning. We did not expect a bus full of students. So there was a wait time of a good 45 minutes before we placed our order. Then it was another 20 minute wait to get our food. There is a variety of options both savory or sweet on the menu. There is not a fountain drink machine here, so you pay per bottle of water/milk/tea, can of soda or custom coffee drink.
I got a half order of the Silo -which entails a jalapeño cheddar waffle topped with fried chicken, turkey bacon, a fried egg, cheddar cheese, avocado & house sauce. My friend ordered the same. It was so delicious. Due to the wait, I almost forgot it had an egg until I cut more into the center as I enjoyed it. It was so savory and well-seasoned. Soon after, my friend and I then opted to share a full order of the Webster. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t pass this up. It was not overly sweet, but that whipped cream tied it all together in a refreshing way. Again, we had to wait about another 20 minutes for the Webster. So if you are in a time crunch, order at the same time. If you think you may want it, just order it from the get go.
The staff here is very friendly. Despite our wait, they were diligent to get all items to us at upmost quality. Even offering menus as we waited in line. It’s definitely worth the wait here. By the way, their bathrooms are very clean. My mother formerly owned a restaurant for 15 years, so this speaks volumes of a place.
